Randy 1987 Demo

Pretty sure someone besides me was looking for this. It's posted on the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Obscurities blog

link removed

Some of the songs show them moving in a commercial direction, but there's still some gems like 'Nightmare' and 'Razor's Edge'.

Moderators- I Hope it's ok to post a link to a blog like that; seems simpler than re-uploading the tracks myself. If there's an issue, remove the link but please leave the info up so folks can find this obscure demo if they want to

No issues. You went about posting this in the correct way.

I'm going to give this a shot.

Who's Got The Power. Great song! Awesome melodic-singalong chorus. Great upload.

Damn, had I seen that on ebay on time, I probably would have gone for it. I love that EP sooo much. Though the 87 demo doesn't live up to it, it's still really catchy and awesome. The 87 demo gives me a Incubus (UK) feeling, especially songs like, "It's Got To Be Love" kind of reminds me of "To The Devil A Daughter".

A couple of tracks are OK, but the rest suck badly IMHO.

That was certainly a mixed bag. The first song was terrible. I nearly deleted it right after hearing it. The next three were pretty good heavy metal, and the last three were OK hard rock. I had a feeling it was going to suck from beginning to end, so I'm satisfied with the three good songs.

Nightmare, Whos Got The Power, Razors Edge, Its Got to Be Love are my favourites. The first song does indeed suck, but its my gay lover and I'm kind of enjoying it!
