Here's another unknown swedish single I have never seen or heard about til' some weeks ago.
Finally arrived, so I made a rip of it. I think it's killer. Great twin guitars all through the single, and a pretty extreme drum solo on the bside. Don't know any year, but I think it's from 1980.

Wow, this was primitive stuff to say the least... Not great (or even good perhaps) but very charming and enjoyable for fans of D.I.Y. Hard Rock = me. I got a feeling this will grow on me, esp the B-side. Cool find, Patrik!

I though exactly the same thing first and second time I heard it. But it grew and grew each time I listened to it. I think it's a KILLER single now. Played it probably 10 times each. I like the aside more now I think. But both are great.

Thanks for the upload. But huh, there really is a good reason this single is unknown; because it sounds like shit. Is this even AOR, I don't know, just terrible terrible.

Bside is a decent hard rocker, I like it, but that A-side is cringeworthy, haha.

It's everyone's private business what and why they collect, and how much they spend, but not to say anything is beyond criticism. So, to me I wonder if some people indulge in a little role-playing of self-deception when it comes to the obscurer stuff, when turds like this are what are turning up are you really excited about it musically or is the obscurity factor far outweighing any sonic reality? I mostly buy US-Metal stuff 'these days', but there are just so many obscurities I don't care about at all, I'm not crazy about collecting in that way, so at least I think I have a clear perspective of what I want and like and won't go down the road of spending my own money simply to impress other people or boost my self-confidence, which to be honest I think is how a few fervent collectors come across.

When it comes to Swedish osbcurities I'm always excited to hear something new(old) & unknown since they don't turn up too often. This way I know what to keep an eye out for, for possible future trading-purpouses + I generally enjoy being updated and 'in-the-know' when it comes to My Own Scene.

Yeah that's cool, staying up to date on what pops up is different to actually being the one shelling out for this stuff though, and it's not the moon turning red whether things cost 2 dollah or 500, but I wonder if it doesn't get depressing if the quest for holy grails simply turns up plastic cups primarily...

First of all, I collect swedish metal/hard rock singles and like getting em all. Second, I got this single for free and would not spend any big money at all on a record that you never even heard. Third, I actually like it.
And as DaN says, I like hearing never before-known singles, wether it's good or bad, just to keep updated what to look for in the future. Some like the stuff, some doesen't. I like this one.

Some of us just like to collect crap music and feel no real urge to justify it.

OMG this is awesome. Another evil OAR classic! The second song is better, but just doesn't have the level of evil of the first one.
