This is one of the many "Magnitoalbums" by Galaktika (Galaxy), probably their most representetive, from 1987:

Galaktika/Galaxy: Ya metall (Magnitoalbum 1987)

This is the most common verson, but there also exist another "variant version" with 14 tracks never seen before. I am pretty sure that the bonus tracks come from previous magnitoalbums of the band

This is a good metal, not as thrash as in their next "Randevu" magnitoalbum from 1989 (which I'll post later) but, definitively, much more metal than ther previous releases (for example, their "Poslednyii Letnyii Den" Demo from 1986 or - even - a live 1984, which I'll post later)

enjoy it

much more thrash than their previous "Ya metall" from 1987

I have some more "magnitoalbums" by Galaktika, that feature unreleased songs and/or different mixes of the songs that appeared on their vinyl releases.

Later I will post their earlier stuff, so you can see the evolution from a (sloppy) aor metal to an heavier sound

Just listening ya metal.

First song is a great melodic metal song. With great synth and guitar solos following each other...

4th song is very Malmsteenesque...

5th song is a great treasure for athmospheric prog metal searchers. A long song without drums! If you like Eloy, Camel don't miss it!

6th one is heavy rockn roll and very motorheady...

jnfernal Thanx for it btw. I'll dig the other albums later

I found informations about that "Randevu" on a russian blog...I think it was not the Metalrus forum....because my hard disk crashed a couple of months ago so I lost every link, info and connection that I hardly built in over 3 years of researches.

If I am not wrong, as far as I can remember, there was an user who had this magnitoalbum...he had any info about it, nor had the moderator of the forum. He named this unknown magnito "Randevu" due to the most famous song on it but no one could give more infos. The only sure data was the release year, 1989 as it was handwritten on the cover.

It may be a generic, unnamed magnitoalbum...I'll try to find more infos, but I need to find that website again...until last January I was much more into russian metal researches: then after I crashed my hard disk I gave up a bit because I think a lot of links, informations, contacts that I found in 3 years are gone forever and impossible to find anymore...

I had also a couple of other magnitoalbum of Galaktika, for sure....and I can't find them anymore

Russian 80's Metal have been the "great discovery" for me in this latest year...I really think they have a peculiar sound very distinct but also with lots of quality...
Thanks for sharing !
