Yeah, here you go. One of the best recordings from Italy ever! I think it is the best Shining Blade piece actually. Definitely much better than the LP, who has a version of On the Battlefields which really is a disgrace. I can not understand why they slowed it down like that. The other demo is almost as good as this, but only almost. Get ready for some classic heavy metal and enjoy!
1. On the Battlefields
2. Winged Snake
3. Night Walking
4. Freakish Footsteps

Their discography should be like this, I think:
- On the Battlefields demo 1983
- Ace of Blades demo 1984
- Toch the Night LP 1986
I also snatched a picture from Strilo Strano for you:

You're right that it was never officially released, but it's available on some CD, I think. I wonder why it wasn't released... I have it here anyway if someone wants me to upload it.

It seems many of those upload services doesn't work from all countries. I know some have had the same trouble with Megaupload. Rapidshare seem to be the most reliable. Maybe we should set some sort of standard for these remote server uploads?

I thought Speedyshare was a good and easy place to upload and download from, but when everyone can't download it feels pretty bad. All of you should have a chance to hear this incredible demo! I've uploaded the demo again on Rapidshare for metalmaster and others having problem with my first link.

Touch of Devil did indeed record a killer demo.
Apart from the more common bands I would recommend Rex Inferi (especially the song Axeman in Black) and the Vanexa demo from 1981. I believe I can upload these also if anyone wants any of them...

REX INFERI were never a fave of mine - pretty average stuff w/ bad vocals - and I'm a HUGE fan of Italian Steel. A VANEXA-demo would be awesome though!
FELINE MELINDA, now THERE is an Italian band that more people shoud know about!
