That was fantastic! It's nice to see some heavy metal humor again that doesn't go completely overboard with silliness and stupidity.

Thanks for the nice replies, everyone, glad you liked it. And yes, we're tryin' to make our little flicks in a rather funny and tongue-in-the-cheek way, but still try our best to make 'em come across authentic rather than phony.

For some reason most of today's films depict metalheads as either some kinda stoners or emos, which is pretty stupid and annoying, I think. So we rather try to capture the atmosphere and feeling of our fave 80s flicks, which are in most cases also pretty cheesy and campy, but still feel way more authentic and honest than today's metal-related films... some of the films that had a direct influence on "Metal Man" are "Rock'n'Roll Nightmare", "Trick Or Treat", "The Warriors" and "Robot Ninja", as well as lots of old Troma and endtime flicks.

Hey guys, just in case anyone's interested, our cyborg shortfilm "Metal Man" has just won the 1st Bloody Shorts online festival hosted by actors Craig Sabin ("Slime City") and Bari Willerford ("American Gangster)!! The competition was pretty fierce as the "Metal Man" was up against nine totally kick-aerse shortfilms and music videos like e.g. Greg Lamberson's "Johnny Gruesome" (starring Misty Mundae) and Devi Snively's "Teenage Bikini Vampire", but in the end the chromium plated superhero of tomorrow made the race and came in 1st!! Freakin' awesome!!
