I found this little piece of obscurity in the weekend, on a vinyl market. I can't found ANY information at all about the band. The only thing is the short review on this site, in the 707 inches of steel-article.

I think it would be fun for you all to hear it anyway, since I don't think anyone have heard it before, I hadn't anyway. So I made a rip and now sharing it here.

1. Plugget (School)
2. Tåget (The train)
3. Blackout (A instrumental song, which is AWESOME!)

Please, tell me what you think, hope you like it.

Hardly a work of genius, but really charming stuff for sure. I really dig that hoarse, juvenile scream in the beginning of "Plugget". And the Maiden-vibes in "Blackout" was a nice surprise.

Yeah, I like the amatuerish feeling over this single for sure. But Blackout doesen't sound amateurish at all in my ears. It's a killer track for sure! And total Maiden-vibes as you say. :)

Agree, thanks for the upload. Now I can complete another "rare swedisch stuff" cdr.

Thanks for uploading this ultra rarity. Another piece added to the chaotic Swedish metal puzzle. Musically it was not something special, but it was not bad either. Somewhere in the middle i guess. Two of the tracks were dead on early MAIDEN, they lacked their great epicness though. Nice throaty vocals. 3 swords from me, maybe the third one is broken a little bit...

I sended you high-res pix of the cover to your mail too, DaN.

I was thinking of this last day too.. Are they called AMPA or VAMPA?? That's the question... And it doesen't stand anything on the label.

Thanks Patrik for VAMPA i eventually heard this single and ...what a nice surprise. One of the best singles i have heard that's for sure. But i am almost sure that this band was called VAMPA and that they came from Stockholm.I love swedish singing i mean it is better that they chose to sing in swedish instead of the common english.

Was just listening to this, noticed this link is dead, so I thought I'd re-up it. Apologies if unsolicited reuploads aren't welcome...

(catching up on leaving feedback today)

Cool to hear this one finally, but turns out it's not quite my style. Thanks for sharing it though!
