This band is very uneven. They play classic heavy metal with some strong punk and hard rock elements in some songs. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they suck big time. The first album is the best of these two, containing a fair share of good tracks (specially A Miles De Kilómetros De Acá, check out the Pink Floyd rip off in the initial riff. Is not a similar riff, it's the same one. I can't remember the name of the PF song, but it's one from The Piper At The Gates Of Down).
The second album gets more into the hard rock thing which is not good at all. A few ballads and pointless songs, but still it has one or two nice tracks.
Give it a chance though, specially to the first one.

Yeah, there's some stories about that guy (Marcelo Cross) going around in Uruguay. It seems he was nuts. Recently there was a reunion gig, but as far as I know there's not gonna be a comeback from the band. The guy started a solo project of psych rock.

NP the first tape. Charming, raw & punky stüffs w/ some nice Hellhammerish riffing here & there. Anthares will luw this

...but I got an error when trying to open the 2nd rar. Just me?

Yes, I love those songs with the Hellhammerish riffing. Did you notice that blatant Pink Floyd ripoff? I couldn't believe it the first time I've heard it. Still, a heavy metal band ripping off early Pink Floyd is cool.
The error was because of the password or some other sort of error?

Yes, "wrong password" error.

Weird, I'll reupload asap without any pass ;)
And BTW the ripped off Pink Floyd song is Interstellar Overdrive.

Damn, those 3 bonus tracks on the 2nd tape were awesome. And the song "Sudamerika" RAWKS!

The funny thing is that I read a recent interview with him from an Uruguayan fanzine and the guy said he started the band wanting to do something like "Raw Power" from The Stooges
I think the tapes are rare, yes, but I remember seeing some CD's in some stores in Uruguay back in the day. I don't know if they're official reissues or bootlegs. My mom is going to Uruguay right now and I told her to try to get me some tapes or CDs from Uruguayan bands. I'll tell her to pick extra copies of Cross (if there are any) and then we can trade or something.

Dan had the same problem but he eventually was able to do it. I don't know if he had to download them again though. Are you sure you're putting the right password?
