And they both kick some serious ass, so who cares?

Motörhead used two different songs called Under the Knife on the b-side of the Killed by Death 12" single.

Ha ha, cool to see I'm not the only obsessive trivia-nerd who've taken notice. I too scratched my head and sneared about this when "Thundersteel" came out. I guess this could be expected of bands with a dozen or more releases and somewhat impaired in the imagination-dept., but RIOT? Strange..

Can't say I know any more examples but I'm sure they're out there. It's kind of a sad proof of that "narrowminded headbanger"-cliché :?

FDU version fucking kills! One of their best songs ever.

Riot are seriously one of the five best bands ever, The Fire Down Under version has to be the best and one of my favourites from that album if not favourite. The Thundersteel song is usually the song that people don't really like on Thundersteel but I think it's pretty good and a bit underrated. What a worthless paragraph...

Tokyo Blade did two different songs called 'Fever'; one early on and the other on 'No Remorse'.

I think that the "Fire Down Under" track beats the livin' shit out of the one in "Thundersteel"...............

FDU has the better song of that name, but Thundersteel is the better album in my opinion.

Indeed.

I could never pit the two albums against each other. To me they're the work of two different bands who happen to share the same man's vision & guitar talent. Joint faves for me.

I see what you mean and agree, but I still feel that for me Thundersteel is the stronger album of the two, no doubt about it. I'll be damned if I could choose between Thundersteel and Born in America though. :D

FDU,Restless Breed and Born InAmerica arefar more better thanThundersteel(imho)!WAY BETTER that is!

Thundersteel is kick ass as well but it ain't no one man's vision....It's the perfect bend of Riot and S.A. Slayer taken into consideration that Van Starven composed half of the lp............
