The Corroseum forum (new design under construction)

I just received a comp CD called "Coming Up" (93 Mother Earth) where there's two tracks by Shock Tilt; "Heaven Calls" and "I Need Love". The line-up on these songs features:
Conny Lind: v
Per Häggblom: g
Fredrik Åkesson: g
Rolf Häggblom: b
Hempo Hildén: d
Quite an interesting line-up!

This compilation also features two songs by the band Thrashon (one ballad) and Pexilated who are both hard rock/metal, but not really that great to be honest.

Yeah, this Finnish bands has become more and more Swedish over the years and they never really gave up althought they've gone some hard times including a member being murdered.

So, in your opinion, does Shock Tilt belong in "The Encyclopedia of Swedish Hard Rock & Heavy metal" or are the Finnish?

"SF-metal" ... aha, Swedish-Finnish metal

"SF" used to be the official national abbreviation of Finland for decades until it was replaced by "FIN" at some point in '90s. Older cars may still have those "SF" stickers in the back.

Whether the band belongs to Finnish or Swedish encyclopedia is a tought one. Inclusion in both is justified. The original line-up is from Finland and they still seem to have the Finnish Lion symbol on the top left corner of their website.

On the other hand half of the members have been Swedes since early '90s and they've been living and doing their career in Sweden since late 80's.

I've included the band in the Isten site of Finnish bands since the beginning but it didn't bother me to see them featured in the vol.2 of Swedish ebcyclopedia. Maybe this bands needs to be featured in both just like Hiroshima.

Yeah, I know SF stands for Suomi Finland, I was just kidding. I will probably include them under "related" or something.
