Can anyone help?

Post by bigfootkit »

Most of you know me from this board and as admin of New Improved Live & Otherwise Blog, and it's in the latter capacity that i need a little assistance.
I'm in need of artwork to accompany a few items i've got lined up for future posts, if anyone could help out i'd be much obliged.

Art needed for any of the following:

JACKWAVE - King Of The Sea 7" (SWE-1986)
LES AFFREUX - Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions 7'' (UK-1985)
THE CHILDREN - Nightland 7'' (UK-1982)
THE HALL - Street Runner 7'' (UK-1985)
TRUX - Bad Luck 7" (UK-1982)
VARIOUS - Chicago Metalworks Battalion LP (USA-?)

Also any background info much appreciated on the following:

ENGLAND - London Story 7" (UK-1984)
THE CHILDREN - Nightland 7'' (UK-1982)
THE HALL - Street Runner 7'' (UK-1985)

Many thanks in advance, i'm too anally retentive for my own good, it's got to be done right, or not done at all.

Ah, that explains why i've been unable to find one.
It didn't even occur to me that there may have been no pic sleeve, D'Oh!
Thanx for the info.
Did the 12" version have extra songs or was it just the same as the 7"?
I should also mention that artwork i'm looking for doesn't have to be full size or anything fancy, just as long as it's 200 pixels or larger, as that's blogger's default smallest image size.

Are you just looking for #1?

This one is on metal-archives, though I may have a better scan on my home computer (still don't own that one, unfortunately!)

Yup, it's the first Chicago MB artwork i need, if you could supply that i'd be much obliged Keir.
Thanks for the Y Diawled tip. I'd checked metal archives a while back & they didn't have it then, but i just checked again and there it is!
Another one scored off the list!
Many thanks.

I had saved a recent auction for that one, but unfortunately it's just the html file. I used to be able to save whole pages, but for some reason I can't anymore.

Can't help w/ the remaining ones, sorry. I've always wondered about that Street Runner 7" too. Someone burned a copy for me years ago but I never found any info about the band.

Ah well, thanks for taking the time to read the list and try to help, i guess i'll do a "mystery disc" post at some point if i can't find further info or art on these releases.
Maybe i'll just rar all the 45s together and hold back the Chicago LP 'til i get the art and a complete tracklist.
Thanks for all the replies folks, i appreciate your efforts.
