I'm really, really looking forward to the vinyl edition.

Great to hear from you - did you get the mail sent to your private address?

Thanks for the heads up the Paypal - it was disabled on the T Shirts and patches to allow for the stock to come in. As soon as its in we will activate it.

Is the vinyl album really costing £27.39 as that is the price that comes up in Paypal?

Let me take a closer look after we have the stock in and the dust has settled on the full landed costs?
Couple of things to bear in mind - we have set out to produce something of quality, and have engaged with the best studios, engineers, producers and designers, (maybe in the world) to achieve this - this does cost tens of thousands of pounds, unbelievably. The CD for instance has been shipped to a Sony factory in Europe to be manaufactured, and the Vinyl will require the master reduction finals re-mastered for vinyl - this will be done at Abbey Road - and will give the audio the better quality for it - we could have taken a discounted route and just used the master reduction, and sent it East to be made into vinyl, and not 28oz vinyl, or gatefold sleeves with lyrics.
Also - the price quoted will also include p&p and the dreaded VAT.
But - as I said, lets take a look at the full costings when we get them - we want you to be as happy with this as we are. :)

Thanks for the info.

I guess my comment may have come across as a whinging one but it was not meant that way. It just seemed an odd price more than anything.

Anyhow, looking forward to hearing it in the future at some point

Hi MSP,

Sorry mate - I got the wrong end of the stick. I will take another close look at it all when we have all the costs, and work out a fair price for it all.
I think the odd ness in price is the p&p being attached to the record price followed by VAT.

I will report back later - best wishes,

Tim

I did now, guess I'm not the only one here who has to read that. :)

Yeah, £27.39 is quite expensive. Almost three times as expensive as most other new vinyl records. It would cost more than I have ever paid for an musical release before...

Hi Black Axe,

Yes - you are the only one to have read the credits - bar a couple of others - we thought you might like it!

OK - I am hearing the groundswell of opinion on pricing, so will look again at this when we have the stock in. Looks like I will have to cancel the Porsche............. To be honest I had to quickly put a guesstimate price up there for the web developers to be able to crack on.

What do you think is a fair price, for UK, Europe, and ROW - bear in mind we need to cover p&p, and sadly will have to charge VAT, @17.5% on both the vinyl and p&p?

Cheers for now!
