Crazy rare US hard rock/metal cassette album

Legion “ST” cassette only album 1982 (USA)

1. Rats In The Walls
2. Death Trap
3. Buried Alive
4. The Dunwich Horror
5. Winter
6. The Demon Flyers
7. Jack The Ripper
8. Legion

here is the story. About 10 years ago a trader friend asked me to find this Legion album. He had given up locating a copy. I put it on my wantslist as an “lp” and over the years as I sent my list around, no one, and I mean not even a hint of anyone knowing what this was. Some folks confused it with the Legion 4 song 12” from 1986

Well last year when visiting Maniacal Mike Pritchard he had this tape on “Bitteredge Records” sitting on his shelf and all the answers were solved, this had to have never been on vinyl and was a tape only album. A big thanks to Mike for ripping this for me and sending it to me, I just got the jcard scan today and am now sharing it with everyone.

It is not as good as I had hoped, great song titles, but it is still cool and kind of has a homemade/crude psych hard rock/metal thing going on and should appeal to the maniacs like myself.

Raw hard rock/early metal stuff and a bit messy at times. Not very exciting for me though, but it's ok for 2-3 listens. Thanks alot for uploading this rarity.

the singer reminds me of Mike Reid, ghostly, haunted style with spooky, down-tempo elements that transfer you elsewhere, lovely!

I'm i the only one who thinks that Jack the Reaper is an extra cool track?
