What are the strangest bandnames you can think of? Do you care what the name means? Are there any you can not understand?

From a swedish point of view two obvious choices would be:
Tröjan (The Sweatshirt)
Tredegar (Three-doughs)
also:
Sprut (Squirt)
Sorry, just couldn't help it.
Maybe this deserves to be a thread on it's own. "Bandnames that means something else in another language"

Some Norwegian Black Metal bands have the silliest names, like "Kvist" (meaning "Twig") or "Styggmyr" (meaning, well, I can't translate, but it sounds like an old place name).
"Tröjan" is a classic in Swedish, but how about "Kiss"?
Battleroar is kind of funny seeing as "Roar" is a common name in Norwegian. I'm going to call my band "BattleKnut"

"Sarissa" is a sort of a long, ancient, Greek spear, very agressive weapon though..

It's a kind of weapon (similar to a pike) used by the ancient Macedonian phalanx...
Edit: Oops! Sorry, didn't see the previous answer.

That one was so obvious I totally forgot about it - even though my 6 year old daughter found the name hillarious when I was indoctrinating

her with some light metal (Killer/War Machine) just one week ago.

maybe an old joke, but from German point of view, VIXEN is killer, phonetically spoken.. (for those who need lessons in special German vocabulary, "wichsen" means "to jack off"

)
