I think Scott Reagers is one of the best doom vocalists ever, and honestly I don't care much about Wino, but in general it seems to be the other way around. What do you think?

Reagers hands down...

Reagers for me too. He sung the best SV material imo.

It's the same for me : Scott Reagers.
Btw, the name of the COUNT RAVEN vocalist who sings on "C.O.D." is Christian Lindersson.

I'll say Scott, but I like Wino too.

Reagers. My fav Saint Vitus album is the s/t and "Burial At Sea" is one of the best doom songs ever written. It reminds me of the movie "The Fog" by John Carpenter. The mood is just right.

Scott, obviously. But the albums with him on vocals are way better than the Wino albums too.
I like Wino best with The Obsessed and the CR album with Chritus on vocals is killer.

Reagers of course! His vocals are just something out of this planet.
I prefer Wino with The Obssessed, especially Lunar Womb.

Nothing against the others, but Scott Reagers is the man hands down. Saint Vitus, Hallows Victim. The Walking Dead. Die Healing... all killer.

Ooooooh who is the phantom Wino voter!?

Not me

Reagers was always perfect for Vitus; good singer who could do some really creepy vocal contortions that fit the music perfectly. I like the Wino and the Lindersson material too but neither of them could create the same morbid, insane aura that Reagers could.

Wow, we're all in the same page here! (except that Wino voter, come out wherever you are). Is funny because almost every opinion I read outside this forum said the exact opposite. I've always read that Vitus with Reagers was cool and all, but that they reached their greatness with Wino. I can disagree more! I don't hate the Wino material and I listen to it from time to time, but Reagers vocals are way creepier and fit better Vitus' style.
BTW, isn't Die Healing's cover one of the best album covers ever?

Reagers yeah.

Many metal fans are probably more familiar with the Wino material than the Reagers material, which may prompt them to say "Wino is Better". 'Die healing' has been OOP forever, and has Hallows Victim ever been available on a legit cd? For many metal fans, Saint Vitus is all about 'thirsty and miserable'. They of course did plenty of cool songs with Wino, such as 'jack frost' and 'born too late'. Still, I'll bet that, if more pepole heard Reagers do tracks like 'Zombie Hunger', 'war is our Destiny', and 'dark world', they'd change their minds

I think "Hallows..." has never been printed on CD, at least officially. But in these mp3s days that's no excuse.
