Considered one of the best of the genre by many NWOBHM fans, I must admit it's not a personal favorite. It's not bad, but just doesn't click with me.

I've always loved this one but the demo is even better! Anyway thanks. My rip was lost when my older HD crashed :(

I agree the demo is even better, I'll upload it to complete this MARQUIS DE SADE thread.

I didn't knew that this LP I saw was a High Roller Rex. bootleg...!

Oh, that's the album you mentioned! Is that particular one a bootleg? I think (this has probably been discussed on the forum somewhere) that HRR has put out a legit Marquis de Sade record.

Omen: thanks for adding the demo! I'll check it out for curiosity's sake.

EDIT: well, the demo is better than the single! all four tunes are pretty good; they have a little more metal bite to them than the 2 single tracks (I like the demo vers. of SUitM a little more than the single version, at least on first impression).

at least metalarchives said the High Roller LP is a bootleg.

It could be; I know there's some confusion regarding which HRR are boots and which ones are not. I know there's a thread about it if someone really needs to know for certain.

That's the LP: http://cgi.ebay.de/MARQUIS-DE-SADE-same ... dZViewItem

Heard both the records today. Could be a bit edgier and rougher for me (+ less casio attack), otherwise brilliant stuff. thanks a lot again.

The demo is definately much better than the single. Sad that the demo is probably even harder to find than the 7"
