Hails to everyone!

This topic is about COBRA, a Peruvian heavy metal band formed in 2005.
Eventhough we are a young band with young members (the average age is 20 - 21 years old) we try to make our music sound the way the bands we have as influence and keep the flag of the real heavy metal high.

Up 'till now the band has 3 productions:

- DEMO I (2005)
- DEMO II: THE HIGHLAND WARRIOR (2007)
- PROMO (Promotional material) (2008)

The next plans the band has for recording are:
- a split album with Colombian speed metal band SKULL (by Peruvian label Austral Holocaust)
- a 3 way split with Peruvian bands ASTUR (death metal) and RIP (thrash metal) (in independent way until now)

Is a very common name in the Heavy Metal, but now is the only active band with the name Cobra...

anyway, even if you are the only active band named cobra, you admit its been used before by many other bands. therefore it should be changed to something you know has never been used before.

I think is too late to change the name now.

good latin american bands like this one should get invited more to european heavy metal festivals ...not the same old "new" bands already known by everyone that have the same level(sometimes even lower) as this underground latin american bands...
