In response to John's US Metal-thread, what are the most expensive/high priced Euro/World records? Again, not neccessarly the rarest...

I'll start with these:
Anthracite - Plus Precieux Que L'Or [France, 1985] 1500
Axe Hero - Brainstorm LP [Italy, 1986] never seen
Sabbrabells - Same LP [Japan, 1983] 750 - 1000
Excalibur - Generacion Maldita LP [Spain, 1988] 1000?
Flames of Hell - Fire and Steel LP [Iceland, 198?] 2000?
Widow (Ritual) - Same LP [England, 1983] never seen

Are those prices in euros? Seem a bit hefty even for those titles. Maybe WIDOW and possibly ANTHRACITE could reach those prices, but the rest.. I'm sceptical.

What about Wild Pussy? One guy was selling it recently, but it didn't reach the reserved price, but it came up to $700 or so ...

And it wasnt listed under Jazz, or the auction was 10 years ago?

I search for this record since many years, I have NEVER seen a copy for sale, not on Ebay, not elsewhere, no luck thru contacts/addresses in Iceland. This one is on a whole lot of Wants list and I know some ppl. ready to pay HUGE amounts for this record.

We can open a separate thread: greatest bargains ever. DaN's London-Wild Pussy and this Ebay FoH are the first nominees.

This counts only for drunken swedes that invade foreign shores.

Real price around 750. Euro, that is.

I recently saw a WILD PUSSY copy at a very well-known place in Athens. Can't imagine more than one copy of it being on sale, and coming from Greece as well, these days. Is this the guy we're talkiing about?

It was the only vinyl that had no price tag on it. Having in mind George's price-theory all these years, i didn't bother to ask...

P.S. The same day i saw Maiden's First Ten Years Box, its price was 100 Euros (good price for it generally). However, i had the feeling that there was a nigger in the woodpile so i asked the guy: "Is it complete?" and he replied "No 3 vinyls are missing, if it was complete it would cost at least 300-400 Euros"...
