I'm a bit bored:

1.LUZBEL: Pasaporte Al Infierno
Could be my favourite record from central/South America. It stands on its own. A record I can play over and over and over. This record has everything that makes metal great

2.CEREBUS: Too Late Too Pray
Another charming pretty unknown (not rare) record from the US. Apart from 1 song (which sucks big time) this record delivers some very great US-metal that doesn't sound that much like something else.

3.BLACK VIRGIN: Most Likely To Exceed
A band I've discovered through The Corroseum. After picking up a copy for next to nothing on a fair some time ago I discovered another US-monster. This record is not a technical masterpiece but for what it does, it does it EXTREMELY well, man, all songs on here are great. The very prominent base, weird guitarsound and mindblowing vocals do the trick.

Well, what do you think of these records :D ?

1. KILLER album, certainly one of the best from South America. Huizar's voice is godly.

2. Excellent, i have the Sonic Age reissue, some tracks are top-notch, highlight is of course the hymn Distant Eyes.

3. Raw, brutal and evil in a Venomic way. Hand Over Fist is a CRUSHER.

Nice records you picked, Sten 8)

They're all pure 80's heavy metal with lots of feeling and dedication. The Cerebus is a bit faster then the other two, definitely worth checking out

Haven't heard the first one, but Cerebus is great! I have it on vinyl, but have not listened to it for a long time. But i know every time i play it i really enjoy it a lot & it usually get a couple of spins on the turntable.
Black Virgin I know nothing of, but if it's Venomic in any way, then I need to search it out!!!!!!!! Being on Metal Enterprises it's appealing in a disgusting way... like Killer Fox ...i hope!?!?!

Black Virgin: I think I have ony listened a couple of tracks, which sounded very good. Need to listen to the whole album

CEREBUS: US-metal at its finest! My favourite tracks:Running out of time,Distant Eyes
BLACK VIRGIN:Rough-sounding metal from the USA with a primitive sound for the genre,IMO.Favourite tracks:Night riders,Blood brothers.
LUZBEL:One of the best heavy metal Mexican bands, especially for the worshippers of the Spanish-speaking countries' scenes!Favourite tracks:Pasaporte Al Infierno of course (!) and Advertencia.

Yes, that's one thing everyone who's into South American metal should do. Perfect album and METAL to the bone. The track "Vida Despues De La Muerte" is all what metal is about.

1.LUZBEL: Pasaporte Al Infierno
One of the few really great Mexican Metal albums in my book. Nothing too original but very solid classic HM and I'd like to get hold of an original please thank you very much.

2.CEREBUS: Too Late Too Pray
One out of a million records I picked up ages ago, played once and then put directly in the sale/trade crate. I've rediscovered plenty of these rejects since then so if it's not sold yet I'll probably give it another spin..

3.BLACK VIRGIN: Most Likely To Exceed
I just love this album to death. Every single song is awesome, the vocals some of the meanest ever (this guy eats pansy Geoff Tate-wannabes for breakfast) and they have a sloppy yet cute female drummer :D
I'M HEAVY METAL MAAAAAAAAD - I'M HEAVY METAL MAD!

Let's discuss some other musical offerings:

1.STEEL PROPHET: Inner Ascendance: demo 1989 (re-released on vinyl)
A topnotch demo imo. Reminds a lot of early Fates Warning. Some songs even match the finest of Fates Warning especially Sleep Of Despair; the killer melody lines along with the superb vocals sent shivers.

2.BREAKER: Get Tough LP: full length 1987
Can't help it but I love this record to death. I'm glad I recently scored the original. Nothing sounds like them. Great and diverse US metal with a very capable singer. The song Behind Enemy Lines brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. The rest is killer as well IMO. I only prefer the "Cleveland Metal"-version of "10 seconds In",but hell, that's just a minor thing.

3.ATOMKRAFT: Future Warriors LP: full length 1985
I always though this to be total crap but after buying the vinyl for a few bucks and spinning it for numerous times I must conclude that I first need to listen to things before judging. I really like this record. It's nothing unique or mindblowing; it's just great speedy metal anno "one of Metal finest years" 1985. Reminds me a lot of the German speed/thrash-scene from that time.

Well, what do you think of these???

Decent album with fillers and killers, simple and raw Venom alike Metal with a charming nasty vocalist. Favourite song is Heavy Metal Mad for being insane and original

Good choices!

Steel Prophet is no replacement for early Fates Warning, but the quality of this demo was nevertheless fantastic. You´ve got to like the extreme high vocals, of corse. I do.

Breaker is obvious a classic. Great feeling and supreme songs, one better than the other. What a band.

Atomkraft was never a elite band in my eyes, but they have some enjoyable moments, but not much more. Solid.
