This band although it reminds a lot of a South European band(Italian,Greek)(i would bet on this if i'd never knew) who worships Manowar its in fact from New York.
The sound especially the drums and guitars have very bad production.
But it has a very obscure feeling and cool vocals.
It has no relation with most US Power bands who sing high-pitched and their sound.
A very Non-American sounding band from USA.
It is surely an interesting album.

This is good stuff!!!! I listened to the first song, liked it very much and I'm already taping the album to play it in my car in half an hour.
I'm not a big fan of typical US metal but this is far from typical. Fuzzed-out Manowar worship!!
Is this easy/hard to find? What's the average pricetag on this one?

It's a hard one to get. Though the price tag is different from time to time it seems. I guess the usual price is 200 dollars or something like that. But last time on ebay, it went for something like 500 dollars.

I guess I just will never understand the Manowar reference. No comparison at all.

Annoying vocals in half of the songs spoil it for me.

I don't really see the MANOWAR-comparison either. KILLEN were darker, doomier and without one inch of stadium rock vibes.

You kinda wonder if this album would be better or worse if the playing and production weren't as raw? I'm not really sure. It's the fantastic songs (especially the vocal harmonies in tracks like Victima, Stricken By Darkness, Challenge Eternity etc..) that takes them ahead of the pack. A VERY unique and moodfilled HM album and I'm still trippin' on the fact that I just added it to my collection :D

Witchkiller or GJ should be able to help you, it's a well known fact that they always carry mp3s of that album wherever they go :)

My copy is from the boot CD and as far as i remember the sound was pretty much shit.

The sound is shit regardless the media format. This album just has bad production in general.
