STARR (USA) - Memories Never Die LP 1982

Requested by steelegacy. Psych hard rock with a prog touch, no crossover here because if we call this crossover, then an album like "From the Fjords" must be tagged under something like barbaric epic metal. While listening to it once more, i found a couple (1st and 5th track) of relatively interesting tracks, but it's not very impressive as a whole.

No titles for the songs unfortunately, the back cover xeroxed copy i have is very blurry, really sorry for that.

Judging from the feedback received, it's very strange that the link hasn't expired yet... :?

Anyway, thanks for adding the song titles, bigfootkit.

I think that perhaps your very honest and accurate assessment of the album maybe scared some listeners away from it.
The good songs are really good though, so i'd say it was still a very worthwhile post, my thanks again for upping the album.

No problem, i have more hard-to-find albums that are closer to the sound that is referred as 'crossover', if you're a fan of the genre there are some albums you can still check out: IMPECCABLE, TAILGUNNER, ALKANA (maybe it is already up), WHITE BOY AND THE AVERAGE RAT BAND etc. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks Ion. I already have the Tailgunner, Alkana, and Impeccable albums, (also have a great 7" from them from back when they were still called Axxe, if you need it), but have yet to come across White Boy & The Average Rat Band.
If you could up that when you get the time, i'd be more than stoked my friend.
And of course, if i can help you out with anything in return, just gimme a shout.
