The Corroseum forum (new design under construction)

Hi!

We have now posted a new track from the forthcoming Overdrive album "Let The Metal Do The Talking" on our MySpace. The album will be released by Lion Music in January and Soundholic (Japan) in March.

The songs is "Army Of Darkness", the album opener which was penned by Kenth Ericsson.

The cover is made by Monowasp (TNT, Dante Fox etc) and also follows in the fine old Overdrive tradition.

The album will be released in Japan by SoundHolic in March, with 5 bonus tracks (from the Resurrected EP)

Are you also having a instrumental track on the album like on your previous albums? I really admire "The Battle" and "Swords and Axes"!

You betcha! The track is called "Den of Iniquity" and it's dedicated to all the fanzines, websites and webzines that support 80s metal. The Corroseum is of course also mentioned in the thanks-list!

The riff strongly reminds me of Stratovarius' "Shattered"... I'm looking forward to the full album!

Seconded. Effort sounds quite melodic. Maybe a tiny bit too melodic. I guess it could be somewhat rawer too.
