I hear them being mentioned a lot in US metal gems discussions but I've never heard anything of them. Are they actually good (I trust Corroseum collective taste, heh!) and where should I start? Am I right to remember they're White Metal?

"Annihilation Absolute" is a great album. It is quite heavy, many tracks have a weird doomy feeling and the singer reminds me at some points of H.Conklin, a very positive thing of course. "Cruel Sea", "Fight for your life", "Stop the race" and "In the still of the night" are US metal classics that shouldn't be missed. I give this album a 8,5-9/10.
I don't think they were considered as White Metal, the lyrics have nothing to do with christian issues...

The other one is an EP with different yet highly interesting versions of the songs!ChildOfTheDamned wrote:If you're gonna get the LP,mind that there are 2 versions, the one being with 3 (I think) less tracks!

did you listen to the lp version or the 1st press MLP version? Because there really is no comparison, the original is far superior than the metal blade version. When I relistened to it recently this was a nice discovery, had not paid much attention to the differences before. I ripped a fresh copy of it for the thrashmagedon forum, pm me if you need the link.
