I hear them being mentioned a lot in US metal gems discussions but I've never heard anything of them. Are they actually good (I trust Corroseum collective taste, heh!) and where should I start? Am I right to remember they're White Metal?

"Annihilation Absolute" is a great album. It is quite heavy, many tracks have a weird doomy feeling and the singer reminds me at some points of H.Conklin, a very positive thing of course. "Cruel Sea", "Fight for your life", "Stop the race" and "In the still of the night" are US metal classics that shouldn't be missed. I give this album a 8,5-9/10.

I don't think they were considered as White Metal, the lyrics have nothing to do with christian issues...

I need to hear their MLP/LP as well I've heard it referenced to Jag Panzer a few times.

Highly recommended US style Power Metal.

You really can't go wrong with Annihilation Absolute.

I don't have access to the forum where we are able to upload MP3's yet but once I do I'll take it upon myself to upload this album if it's not already there.

Basically you can't do else but to start with their ONLY record, which simple kicks ass!!! If you're gonna get the LP,mind that there are 2 versions, the one being with 3 (I think) less tracks! I also think that they have reunited for some shows in New York. Anyway, talk is cheap, get it,it rules!

The other one is an EP with different yet highly interesting versions of the songs!

I listened to this and I found it to be ballsy proud US power metal with great riffs, amazing solos and a strong leading voice. I dunno if it'll have staying power with me, but it really typifies everything good about this particular genre.

did you listen to the lp version or the 1st press MLP version? Because there really is no comparison, the original is far superior than the metal blade version. When I relistened to it recently this was a nice discovery, had not paid much attention to the differences before. I ripped a fresh copy of it for the thrashmagedon forum, pm me if you need the link.

I have the version with more songs, so I guess I should listen to the EP version too? A link would be kind yes, as thrashmageddon bahleted me as most non-uploaders.

The older version is more raw, but the newever version has more power and control! Tough choice, but good to have both!

Stop the Race is the standout track in here for me.

Their album is incredible. I think I have the full-length version, not at all sure though.
