As long as they don't upload new stuff thus stealing money from the artists I don't see why they contribute to the downfall of underground metal. I don't know if I'm "false" but I'd rather download an 80s private release or demo than pay 1000bucks for it (which is an price I cannot afford) and have it in a shelf still...SEALED! I'm pro downloading when it comes to rare,ultra expensive or virtually unfindable stuff.

I'm on those forums as well but I've never downloaded a new release.
Only rare/demo/out of print stuff!

They do upload new/easily available albums...

Really? that's a crime!!! Can't they concentrate on out of print stuff then??? If you want to check out a new release before buying one can use Myspace.

Yeah, that bothers me too (uploading new releases and / or easy to buy old albums), but on the other side, I managed to find some albums I was trying to hear for years (and I couldn't afford them), for example Redeemer, Raven Bitch, Grinder (Dawn for the Living - yes, I know that the LP is easy to find, well the CD isn't + I ended buying it anyway now) and such.

2. If you don't know anybody inside, what can you do?
You have to upload at least 3 albums which haven't been posted in the forum, yet. To check unposted albums you can use

- Use
