Tried to register there some time ago (forum) but my account was never activated. Maybe they dislike Belgians

Same thing here, have retried it today. We will see.

I'm still awaiting a mail, to be able to go on the forum.

You can find my entry in Greek Collectors section. As far as the forum board is concerned, I use the same nick with here!

@Levi and Andreas: As part of the Metalpage team I apologise if there has been any troubles w/registration. If you pm me your user-name I'll look into it and see what went wrong.
Explantation may be that we had some really heavy trouble with spam-bots in the forum, so we only activate user-names that sound "real", as we believe our forum-members dont appreciate daily offers of Vlagra or Brittney Spears P0rn.
I'll be happy to activate you both there of course, and encourage everyone else to register too 8)

About the Collectors Ring: It's separated from the forum so feel free to join in anytime, EVERYONE from the Corroseum is highly welcome there and encouraged to join us :)

Oh, and to the ones already registered: If anyone wants me to update/change profile, add pics or whatever, a little email or PM is enough.

Cheers!
Roman

Hey Roman, is that guy called futuresynner also in Collector's Corner? If he is, he's probably under Germany, right?

I am also there on Estonia section. Its already from 2003. I asked to remove my email later from my info because many rip-offs started to bother (especially from South-America).

Yeah FutureSynner is from Germany, but he's not part of the collectors ring. I wasn't even aware of this, I'm gonna ask him to register next time I hear from him.

I'm part of the collectors ring since the days of Charly's Metal Treasures site, about 6 years ago I think. I use the same nick.

I used to register on my real name there, but I checked the forum but I think I've lost my password or maybe I was deleted because I didn't go to their forum that often.

A very interesting website IMO. They attack the collecting thing on another angle than the Corroseum, but I find their reviews to be really useful, and sometimes a pleasure to read.

We regulary delete the 0-post users, other than that noone gets kicked from the forums without reason. If you posted there once it doesnt matter how long you didn't visit the site, your profile should be there.
If you wanna give me your user-name in PM I can check it for you, no worries.

Thanks. Good thing with our reviews are the "cross-reviews", on some records we have 2 or even 3 different opinions from different ppl., I find that interesting myself (although some of those opinions are beyond me, look SATANS HOST).

@all: We are always looking for reviewers! Everyone is welcome to send something, be it a different opinion to an already existing recordreview, or a completely new one.

This subject bring back some Metal Treasures-nostaliga for sure..

Been registered since I first discovered MT many years ago. I guess its main perks is that you get a lot of trade/sale lists on ze email, and it's always interesting to check out what other collectors/fans of Forgotten Metal are out there...

I always wondered though (Roman?): Is there a "standard" for who gets to sign up? I remember seeing some rather corny/suspect entries of clueless mp3-kiddies there. A teeny-weeny bit of 'elitism' wouldn't hurt, would it?

..and let me know if you want some tips on how to avoid spambots. I installed some MODs here a while back that proved very effective.

Yeah, Metalpage is the best page for collectors...The only thing I dislike in the couple of last months is, that all new reviews don`t have a pic from the cover. This lost some of the quality for me :( But I know, it is a hell of a job to scan every cover
