So far the best Korean heavy metal album I've heard.
This album would be a total killer in my books but the last two songs
just dont fit. The rest of it is pretty much Heavy/Hard Rock with some total rippers (like the first song for example) but the last songs are softer and more pop-oriented, probably made for radio playing or something.

I've heard only one song from Sinawe. I gotta keep looking for those!

King of Rock'n'Roll is by far the best from BAEKDOOSAN, the 2 others are average.
SINAWE are good, but nothing outstanding !
The same for ARMAGEDDON !
DIONYSUS are very good ! Slightly progressive, symphonic Metal !
I can recommand EVE ! A all female group with some very good songs ! The Singer is mostly out of tune and there is too much balladry but it has i'ts charm !
If you like early MARI HAMADA-Stuff, you should check it out !
Beware ! There are 2 different Covers but it's the same record !
The best from KOREA to me is the CD from N.EX.T. - 4 - LAZENCA - A SPACE ROCK OPERA.
Outstanding progressive Rock/Metal !!! Incredibly good !

Yeah I wonder why Baekdoosan named their debut album "too fast! too loud! too heavy!!" since it sounds pretty much the opposite to me.

Yeah great album! I don't know if the last song is actually from Baekdoosan because in one of the Sinawe LPs you find the exact same song at the end too, weird! I think the LP says something about it but I don't read Korean.
I like Sinawe much more than Baekdoosan, much more consistent and heavier! Their 80s albums are some of my favorite from Asia. And the singers Sinawe had were killer.
Btw, this album by Baekdoosan isn't OOP, in case anyone cares.

I found a Sinawe album today and after listening to it a little bit I must say I still prefer this Baekdoosan album over it. They sound actually a little generic and soft (compairing to songs like "The Moon On The Baekdoo Mountain" or "Up In The Sky"). I don't know yet which Sinawe album this is so they might have better ones though.
And I probably love Baekdoosan's vocalist as much as you like Sinawe's.

I see new (well, old..) Korean LPs on the net that I've never heard of before all the time. Seems they had quite a big scene back in the days, but are there any real must-haves? Judging by the covers most of them seem pretty gay. Keep the recommendations coming!

Besides Baekdoosan and Sinawe, I've heard Black Syndrome and Asiana but they didnt impress me much.

For you...I don't know. They had a pretty big scene. Black Syndrome and Asiana I wouldn't recommend.
Black Hole is probably the most legendary, they still play, pretty good band but their whole discography has ups and downs.
I guess Small Sky is also worth mentioning, but still my favorite band would be Sinawe.
Something you'd like, Dan...? Maybe Nuclear. Their album was pretty solid and considerably different from what everyone else played.
Who knows, maybe you'd like Sinawe, their first 4 albums had a pretty raw and distinctive sound, with memorable vocals (btw, each one has a different singer and they sound nothing like each other)... your kinda thing?

I lost this album when my portable HD crashed and would like very much listen to it again. Could someone here re-upload it?

I think (but I'm not sure) that I still have it. I'll check this evening at home.

I found a rip of the album on soulseek and it's 128kbps. If you have the same don't bother uploading.
