Ive been listeing to the single "Desperadoes" a lot lately. I was just wondering, did they ever have any other demos or recordings (BBC session's, live stuff etc)? If anyone can help that would be really cool, because Desperadoes is great. The vocals arent the best by any means but the guitar just kicks ass.

Great single! I've never seen any demos, but Colin Bell contacted The Old School Metal Show in 2005 (
http://www.nwobhm.net/2005news.htm) saying that he had demos remastered on CD. I never heard what happened to them.

The singer reminds me strongly of Dee Snider! So, he can't be bad at all.
This 7'' kicks ass btw. I'm wondering how the demo tracks might sound...

Yeah, I still like them. To me they just come accross as the weakest characteristic of the 7" (which I really fucking like a lot, haha)....the main reason I think that is because of a few individual times when I thought they could have sounded better (the first one that comes to mind is the "Oh yeah" at the beginning of Desperadoes). It doesnt take away from the music, just some of the time (for me at least) it comes across as not up to par with the asskicking guitar solos. I dont think he's bad or anything...

One of my favorite nwobhm singles- both sides blow me away! never cold track it down

Would be very interested in hearing their other material... didn't they also have a song on a compilation album around 1987? I think it's mentioned in malc's encyclopedia

I think only the band members have the 10 song demo and video, that's what the guitarist told my friend a couple of years ago. he wanted to reissue it, but it didin't happen eventually
