Recent Metal Finds
I'm currently in the process of unearthing my next set of treasures…
Anyone else find that there is always more metal then money in your wallet? (that is of coarse without going into debt or seriously putting a damper on your lifestyle).

Yes. If you look hard enough there are always steals to be made.Avenger wrote:Anyone else find that there is always more metal then money in your wallet? (that is of coarse without going into debt or seriously putting a damper on your lifestyle).

The metalshop in town went bankrupt and tomorrow it's their big all-must-go sale. I'm curious what I'll find there.
Are you talking about a shop in Aalst?Andreas wrote:
I know of one shop, not so far from the main square.
If it's that shop, it will be mainly cd's I guess.

Yeah that's the one. I live in Aalst so I'm familiar with the shop, eventhough I've hardly bought anything there in the last 5 years. But when I just started listening to metal, that place was like heaven to me. We would go there every day and discover new bands, and in the end I only bought one CD every month because that was the absolute maximum I could afford.
Last time I went there this summer they had some cool vinyls, I picked up the latest Denial of god on DLP. I'll be happy if I can score some records like that tomorrow.

So I went and there was no all-must-go sale. Apparently the owned bought back all of his stock. Shady business if you ask me.
Instead I got loaded. Thank god the police never does alcohol controls at noon.
It's been a little while since I posted in this thread. Here's a picture of some of the better vinyl purchases I've made recently:

Some more German metal, as always, but I've also been listening to a lot of hard rock lately. That Stiff EP is really nice. It's a rare private label release from the guys in Lillian Axe before they formed Lillian Axe. Most of these came from a nifty site called www.recordtimenow.com.
