I don't own an original, but I don't think it will cost you too much, there are not many who are after it. Crush's track is 'Kingdom of the kings', different version from the one on the album.

One of the best compilations ever:

both are only tape releases (each 500 copies) and filled with tons of amazing US Underground bands. Sadly I've sold both tapes a few years ago...so if anyone have those tapes and could do a mp3 rip this would be awesome :D

Hm, so it's not that essential. I'll try to remember that one anyway.

Well there are also some other great bands such as Danger Cross, Vaal, Gladiators etc. Danger Cross was the first band in Greece that played Thrash/Death. The price of the original vinyl ranges here in Greece between 60-80 euros.

vaal had an unrealised full length album also. gladiators and vaal were not only great live bands but killer also-despite of what ion britton wrote  . saw them in the past .also angelheart.no need to write bout my beloved mystery. but this compo didn't help any of them.bad recordings-mostly due to bad deadlines and zero money, bad selection of tracks and lots of never fullfilled promises from mr.lord.....still it's good for what it is and better than some copied tapes.......

This double LP compilation was releaesd in 1989 by FM records. It was an effort for releasing some mostly demo groups. Keep in mind that it was very difficult for a greek metal band in the 80s to record something with a good production.
From time to time I come across this one. However, I am not very keen on buying it, because it is considered notoriously bad, both production and song wise.

Also, for a compilation that prides itself into being Greek, the cover was poorly chosen. Stupidly, to be more precise.

I'm playing with the idea to make some kind of resource site for 80's/early 90's extreme metal compilation tapes. The internet is pretty much a void when it comes to information about these.
Just, I only have a few dozen at best myself. Is there anybody out there with big collections of compilation tapes who would be willing to help out?

Why not include LPs and CDs from the same period and style? It would be a good complement to the Corroseum comps-page, since we're not including the later, extreme stuff... (With a few 80's exceptions)

I do not have any 80s/early 90s compilation tapes myself, but I have tons of fanzines with ads and flyers about such tapes.
