What about Necrophiliac (Mex)? Anyone hear of/like Putrefact death?

For those that don't know, this is a death/thrash band. The demo is on thrashmageddon, but my computer is rejecting that site for some reason.....check it out and let me know if it is worth listening to?

CURRICULUM MORTIS from Peru released two decent demos in 1987 and 1988.

A little bit off-topic, but if you're a fan of Latin American extreme metal, you should check out Necrophiliac's (Spain) demo Infernal Exorcism. Sounds very Brazilian. You can download it here: http://www.pitchline-zine.com/demos.item.php?id=000008
I'm listening to it right now, it's pretty good stuff.

Very good! Kind of Kreatorish thrash metal. This is a band that really needs to be dug out from obscurity. I remember there was a site where was some flyers of SS gig posters.

I heard those two tracks posted in thrashmageddon and sounds very cool, but with really bad sound, not only because of the production but it seems that the tape it was ripped from was pretty fucked up too. I would really like to hear a full demo rip. It would be nice if someone reissues their stuff on CD.

Could I get a link to the SS demo?

EDIT: My friend is dubbing me a copy of the demo, if anyone wants I can upload the dubbed full version.

Wasn't sure if I should resurrect this thread or in the ancient regular Braz-Metal thread for this purpouse, but I guess this one makes more sense.

Any other die-hard fans of this masterpiece here? (click for new review)

I'm sure I'm not the first one to spot the Master's Hammer similarities, but what about Satan's Host? Only struck me for the first time this week...

Excellent record indeed! It's worth of noting that Eugenio "Dead Zone" was a keyboard session musician for quite a few good bands from Brazil (including Sarcofago, Genocidio or Pentacrostic) and also went on as a producer for other innovative and obscure records like In Memorian, As Prophecies or Schipanski (does it get more underground than that?). In other words he was a pretty cool dude.

Interesting. It really is a shame he/they never continued with ZM. One wonders how their sound would have developed on a full-lenght 1-2 years later...

I just wonder why people hold that Mutilator "Immortal force" in high regards. Did you ever ask how this album could have sounded with the original singer who shouted on the Demos/Warfare Noise LP? I think it's not a good brazilian Thrash album. Either soundwise it's too clean and lost all it's charm. Also I'm still longing for a Aamonhammer fullenght, despite the untight drummer/bassist. And definitely Mayhem from the same Warfare Noise LP at that time deserved an album. Those The Mist LP's came much too late when they got "softer". Cova, Necromancia .. soo many unheard jewels back in the day ... and we just got Holocausto's "Blocked minds" ...^^
