I dare say these are the only "official" ones.bigfootkit wrote: Now that Sirens, The Compilation Companions Vols 1-3, and Incredibly Strange Metal are all available to d/l again, is that the complete Corroseum collection, or were there any others made over the years?
I don't think so, good as it was, it was just one person's work, (unlike CCC vol 3 which i consider 'official' as it came out of a collaboarative project, even if Kier alone selected the final tracklist).Noisenik wrote:I dare say these are the only "official" ones.bigfootkit wrote: Now that Sirens, The Compilation Companions Vols 1-3, and Incredibly Strange Metal are all available to d/l again, is that the complete Corroseum collection, or were there any others made over the years?
I do remember Helm did demometal compilation: http://www.thecorroseum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1975.
Could that count in a way? Probably not, but it was very sympathetic effort.
I totally agree Pestkrieg, the comps are a great way to hear a lot of unfamiliar material and it's a great introduction to, and example of, what the forum is all about.Pestkrieg wrote:Thank you to everyone for all these brilliant compilations, which all introduced me/reminded me of some killer stuff. I came here first to discover great obscure music and all the compilations have done the trick no end. I wish I could repay more, but my knowledge pales into comparison against most here!
