I'm "average", don't make bad money, but don't make great money. never went ti university, got a good apprenticeship when I got out of school. University would have gotten in the way of writing letters, doing zines, colecting demos, lps, going off to see bands play, meeting people...maybe thats the reason
My missus on the other hand, didn't have any of those interests so she makes the money in our house

If I wrote on here what I earn per year, people would probably think I'm rich. But then, Norway is one of (if not the) most costly countries to live in. €12 for a Duvel at my local...

I can confirm that. I visited Norway last year and everything was insanely expensive. Paid for example 35 Euros for a one-person pizza. Crazy.

Yes life is insanely expensive there. I paid around 12€ for one burger and one small cola in Oslo circa 2008. And some main courses were around 40€ in "better" restaurants.

I can also vouch for the expensive prices in Norway. Payed 16 euro for a burger and cola when I was on a shopping trip at Sound Of Noise (now closed) in 2008.

Haha yep - when at Metal Merchants festival in 2011 we got stung by the €10 beer trick. We just refused to pay. Fuck that!

I'm stinking rich, but the local grocery store won't accept vinyl currency.

Actually that's a very valid point mate - most metalheads are cash poor but vinyl rich!!

That's about it, yes. But wages are of course accordingly high.
And GJ, that thing about vinyl currency is so true. A good thing the stores don't take it though, I might have used something I wouldn't want to part with to pay for stuff.
