I'd really like to hear that one, do you have a copy? I can't see myself shelling out the cash for it http://www.popsike.com/ABLAZE-Psychopat ... 84265.html

Bump in case anyone's found some new goodies. Best one I've heard lately is that Zeus single Khnud posted a month or two ago

Well, I kinda found two bands but they're more or less Hard Rock than True Metal. DESPERATE ANGEL 7" and KING NEPTUNE 7".Both from 80s both have 7"s.I have MP3s but its just 128 Kbps.

Never heard those two. Desperate Angel is the one on white vinyl with the foxy sleeve, correct? It always looked kinda glammy, but maybe that's not the case?

Nothing spectacular here as well Alan. Bought a AMARANTH 7" from US ebay but it hasn't arrived yet which makes me a bit anxious.

From the ones i have i regulary listen to:

PROWLER – I Love It (strong power metal)
ROCK CLEF – Trippin
VIOLATION – Meet Me At Midnight (NWOBHM-sound)
FAITH OF STEEL - Metal With Meaning (maybe a bit cheesy, but i love it)
and
STRYCHNINE – No Escape

Most or maybe all of them are available at the blogs if someone wants to hear it, i can recommand them 100%.

And then there are a few with one good song only: DEAD SILENCE, THE ZIPPERS, MX or BYFIST.

A copy of Prowler just sold on ebay. Looked interesting and I like the compilation song I've heard by them, but I haven't heard the single, and I knew it would bring a good amount.

Curious to hear that Amaranth single too; didn't come across it while blog surfing a few months ago, need to look around for it some more

That's the one, and while you can't always judge a record by its cover, your assumption would be correct in this case. And even as someone who enjoys quite a bit of glam/sleaze/hard rock/melodic whatever... Desperate Angel isn't very good. I'll still keep it for the cover though. ;)

I don't own a copy of King Neptune, but I have the same mp3s that lunaboy's got and it is quite good I think.

Thanks for the heads-up John; guess I know what I'm listening to tomorrow during lunch. Actually, better save the lunch money- may need it to bid on something you listed

Here's a rather unknown one that i bought and found today in the mail:

http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0021707429

Ohio band from `83. Not as glamy as it may look like. A-side offers a nice crossover metal/hardrock tune with a good, clean singer and solid guitars. B-side starts of promising, but the chorous is a bit lame. A nice addition for that price.

RE: Lord Ryur - Apparently they are Canadian, may even be from Quebec I think. It sounds like it in the vocals.
