Hell yeah! saw Raven in San Antonio in October; fucking great show. Their set-list could have used a bit more speed metal, but that complaint is irrelevant compared to how fresh and energetic they looked/sounded.

Saw Helstar yesterday and yes it was good. They only played 4 old songs but the new ones didn't sound that awful as on the cd (production). I was hoping for more older material of course but you can't have everything. Rivera had his voice in excellent shape which made the whole thing much more enjoyable.
Old songs they played:
Evil Reign
Baptised in Blood
The King is Dead
Run With the Pack

I suppose they will be sent back to California to recharge their batteries before KIT.

Hah, they'll be well spent after Oslo. Can't believe they're playing in Norway - never thought I'd see the day.
Next: Metal merchants at the end of January.

Booked my tickets for RUSH in May and IRON MAIDEN in August.
I might go and see Symphony X when they come to the UK. I see they are going around the rest of Europe with Psychotic Waltz and Nevermore. I suppose it is too much to ask that this full package comes to the UK

Are RUSH playing in the UK as well? A friend of mine is going to Amsterdam to see them...

Yes, they are. They are playing a max 23,000 capacity arena in London as well as some other dates

I didn't know Rush are coming to Europe. I'll try and catch them this time. I just checked their website. It seems they are coming to the UK, not to Amsterdam though.
