Tuesday BLACK WITCHERY, DEIPHAGO and GOAT TORMENT in the famous hipster dance club Decadance in Ghent. The gig should be finished at half past ten, because then the dancing starts... An evening of blastbeats and breakbeats, haha!

Ah, ah ! I saw them in Belgium last week, ENTOMBED was OK, but as an opener they only played a 45 minutes gig. But VOLBEAT, hum, I've never heard anything from this band, it sounds like a little heavier GREENDAY !!

Hope so... I rarely listen to this kind of angry stuff but at least it should be refreshing and educational. And there's a bar so I should be able to live through the night in any case.

Yeah you're right.
I don't like grind but General Surgery has more 'traditional' death metal moments than other grind bands. Tormented has a good name in the underground today. Cool bands.

Report: Tormented was really cool I think, won't name any resemblences as I have little knowledge, but they made me tap my foot and that's a good sign. Division Hate were pretty good also. Not too fast and pretty catchy riffing. Liked their idea of having two bassplayers, one regular distorted and one double bass. General Surgery couldn't pull me from my sobering coffees and diet cokes in the bar, but sounded at least acceptable from that position...
Next: Candlemass in Stockholm on the 18th of December...
