And if you check the band's website they have their albums for purchase for far less, but only on CD-R.........
Haha... This is basically the same thing.

Infact, I bet this is a CD-R boot of the bands actual CD-R.

I was tempted for awhile to put $1000, which would have been an average $5 per CD, but then I discovered this info:

"I only accept Postal Money Order but will pay for insurance and delivery confirmation so no loss if any damage to you via USPS."

Would you trust an unknown eBay seller and send him a postal money order of $1000? I'd definitely not.

I would assume his reserve would be around the $2000 mark as that would be less than $10 a disc which is quite reasonable...
If he took Paypal & shipped overseas then he would sell those no problems at all!

There is a common rule that when you buy big lots you never pay more than 50% of the estimated price, simply because:

1. In a big lot you get some good shit, but you also get some fillers

2. You never know what the overall condition of all CDs would be

3. In this particular lot there arent many really rare CDs. To the contrary: the majority are Sentinel Steel / Metal Mind / Greek labels / High Vaultage CDs which still are pretty common and can be found for $10-12 elsewhere.

4. Bottom part of the list (after the last dotted line) has some titles which I suspect are from the infamous CD-R "italian import" re-issues plaguing eBay

So all in all $5 per CD is the absolute top margin I'd have gone for, coz after weeding out the junk you still will end up paying $10 per item for the rest, and that's A LOT when bought in a lot! My personal opinion anyway.

I have a feeling he doesnt takes paypal on this coz he is preparing to rip someone off. He knows it would be hard to rip a buyer via paypal, so he opts for an instant payment - big red flag for me.

Most of these are re-issues that I already own originals for.

There are also occasional bootlegs and those that are first CD format pressings which I also already own.

No thanks...

I guess he set a wrong date in his digital camera. Some of those CD reissues were released after year 2004.

I wouldn't pay more than US$500 for the lot just for the sole purpose of personal collection. However, I would place a bid (say $1200~1400) if I had a Metal shop/business running by me. But then like stormspell said, there's something fishy about this auction...
