Oh the horror...Ernest Thesiger wrote:Shit, Blaine's a bloke! I meant Ruyter! *cringes*

By the way, I'm going to see VOÏVOD next Sunday. They play at Ieperfest, a famous hardcore/punk-festival here in Belgium. Converge, Kylesa, Kvelertak, Dying Fetus, Breakdown, Origin, All Out War and AmenRa are also playing. Some okay (and diverse) additions to a Voïvod-gig I think...

It was quite a hassle to get time off from work aswell seeing as how I just started to work for a new company a month ago. I only got friday off so we'll be missing thursday and all bands before 8PM on friday. But luckily all bands I want to see play later.
I also wonder how Germans manage to get together such a killer line-up full of international bands for just 50 euro's. Makes you wonder how much profit festivals like Graspop and Wacken must make.
By the way, in case you'd know anybody that wants to go last-minute, I still have a seat left in my car.

I hadn't even noticed them. I guess they're playing on thursday, and I arrive on friday. I think they also played Wacken. And didn't they open for Pentagram in the US too?MEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:what does The Devil´s Blood has to in do in such festival like Pary-San? is like Nifelheim at KIT
I have one CD and a shirt from them which I got for free when buying some other stuff. The CD is alright at best. I saw them live in Holland last year and it was horrible. Like a low-budget mystical horror show or something.
If this music hadn't been made by and marketed for the metal crowd, metalheads would simply have ignored it, I guess. But now everybody thinks it's something 'fresh'. It's 'fresh' indeed, and useless. Just another trend band in my opinion, for metal fans who want to like something new, while in fact they don't realize what they think is new has been done before.
