Marquis De Sade - Somewhere up in the Mountains 81 demo. Such a killer, primitive version.

For me, better than the 7"

Agree. The demo version is awesome. I also enjoy the "Living in the Ice Age" track.

I prefer the 7'' version I think, but it's a hard decision. Anyway, MDS 7'' is one of the best NWOBHM singles out there for sure. The demo material SLAYS too.

My favourite track is Somewhere up in the Mountains though, both demo and 7'' versions.

Black Sabbath - Headless Cross

I love the Martin-era Sabbath. I know - blasphemy.

Nah, it's not. Tyr is a fine album.

Cool to see somebody that thinks that. I met only Sabbath Ozzy and Dio die-hards. Your opinion on "Headless Cross"?

Tony Martin die-hard here. Headless Cross & Tyr = TOP-10 albums for me.

Not top-10, but I really dig them too - especially "Headless Cross". (I guess credits go to mordred for years of raving about them, ha ha..)

Same here - love the Martin era. Headless Cross was the first Sabbath album I ever listened to, when it was still filed under "new releases". Tyr is also awesome, Eternal Idol is a bit "not quite there yet, very good though", Cross Purposes is so-and-so, and I don't plan to listen to Forbidden again, in order to find out if the years have made it bearable.
