Well, hope it all ends well.
Situations like this are why some collectors are pretty secretive about what they want; they don't want to tip anyone else off that might compete with them. Same goes for posting mp3s and the like- if i post something cool that I don't alerady own an original of, I'm likely to increase my competition for the item (I don't operate that way myself, but some folks do).
agree w/ Avenger: this also illustrates why trying to 'call dibs' on an auction just won't work. While many folks that know one another will try to avoid butting heads over an item, no one is obligated to pass up an auction just because someone else saw the listing first.

Here's one of those CDs I'd spend $100 for it, but it went a little to high this time ...

$1200-1500 I'd guess. You never know; I thought his Joe Step LP would bring more than $202. It's an awful lot to pay for a 12" single, especially when the songs have been readily available on cd for several years.

I personally like "No Rest" (the A-side) A LOT better then Warn The Childen, although I think theyre both amazing! I think this record is amazing, but if I never somehow strike it rich Ill probably never own one.tomas wrote:I've never heard that Graven Image single. I only know its reputation, so I'm downloading it as we speak. Is it really THAT good?
Edit:
I just listened to it:
A side: boring
B side: good!!!!!
If I won the lotto right now Okilee Dokilee wouldnt stand a chance!

Yeah, I totally agree, No Rest (for the Wicked) is one of my favorite heavy metal songs of all times, and Warn the Children is superb as well!!BloodOfChrist wrote:I personally like "No Rest" (the A-side) A LOT better then Warn The Childen, although I think theyre both amazing!
