The Anacrusis also has a hole punch in the bar code and it's not stated in the auction.

I don't think he sold EVERYTHING outside (who can offer that amount of money for all those cds ?! He bought everything at 200$ average)... maybe he was pissed off for all "your Razor's are boots" private messages ?

This is all just speculation, maybe he changed his mind after picturing himself parting with his beloved CDs? ;)

To tell you the truth I don't get too excited when someone on a big ebay site lists shed loads of rare CDs with intl shipping. It is sure that peopel will bid high over the odds for them so I always leave them to the big spenders.

Indeed, not funny. It's starting to be suspicious...

Just wait til word hits the tropics of mexico about the 800 price tag for impact(news like this can often take months to get there cause all news is still passed via donkey). Ebay is going to be swimming in new impact copies very soon.

I don't really think, the cd is very hard to find even there (the stories about unopened boxes have to be verified and of course nobody can ... until it happens - IF it happens).

Unless there is / there will be a cheap 'imitation' :P !

The "unopened boxes" claim is just a joke theory. It's often used in any sort of collector circle to describe people that obliviously sit on multiple copies of something for years that originally never sold not knowing that it has any value now of days. Who knows though, it could very well be true in this case. Look at those Morbid Saint CD's for example and they are from the exact same label.

In all honesty though, I think the big time collectors that may have multiple copies of Impact or no real interest in the CD are taking the opportunity to sell their copies for big money while they still can. Now that the official re-issue has been announced, all of those that are competing for a copy of the CD will be able to obtain one and the demand for the original will go down.
