Then you should prohably waste some time reading books about the history of development of Heavy Metal music. I mean the term "Poser" should give you a little hint. I guess you know at least what's a "poser" or what the real Metal heroes called a poser?
There's a track on "Fist held high" called "Posers will die", so start with reading the lyrics and then you should directly move on to Manowar and their "Death to posers" ideology, though they are a little bit little posers too. However, some greek guys will prohably not love to hear that.

I wouldn't kill any "posers", I just wouldn't listen to very many of their fave records. I'd guess that "poser metal" is stuff that's more (later) Def Leppard than Ded Engine.

Basically Poser bands are those who made more fuss about their hair/make-up than their music but some of the heavy US bands made that too.
