Yes. And i just hope to find something from your want list for trade on this Arbitrater because eGay prices are scaring me, definitely from the musical point of view this album not cost even half of this price.Helstar wrote:You were right ! $548.88 ! This was 100$ already in early ebay days ... looks like it goes for more than Thrash Rec cds !

Great, looks like a new trend is being introduced - now it now only matters what items you have in your collection, but also how many copies.Helstar wrote:You were right ! $548.88 ! Sovvy has said it's not the same person. Eventhough if I'm not wrong they both work in the same agency model in Milan ^^ coincidence ?Great, looks like a new trend is being introduced - now it now only matters what items you have in your collection, but also how many copies.

Their addresses are 400km apart, that's all the info that I'm willing to reveal online.Helstar wrote:Who are you ?!

On topic: The prices on almost every CD have really grown up in the last few years. Even a couple of years ago 1st Exumer was around 50€, Japanese Darkness Descends maybe $40-$50, 1st Equinox $150, only a couple of CDs did go for over $100 ... Now basically any old thrash CD can go for $50, dozens of them sell over $100 and the ones that end in the $500 range aren't few either. Some prices did fall too, but in general collecting original CDs became a very expensive hobby. Surely one can found bargains on daily basis, but that requires a lot of time and effort ... and getting a CD that is nowadays valued at $100 for $50 isn't really a big bargain either, if you know that this CD used to cost only $20 a few years ago

What I wanted to say is that I'm not really shocked anymore seeing all these CDs go for huge amounts on ebay. Perhaps the prices will continue to grow? Perhaps it's just the current state of things, several collectors who can afford to buy stuff are trying to complete their collections? And once they'll own those albums, there won't be any others left (for a while) to pay the prices that were set by them? For example, there were several auctions with thrashking and rituallyabused being top 2 bidders, and those auctions went way above the usual / expected price - Atomic for $300, Epitaph for $300 ... these CDs for example didn't "last" and copies were sold for 1/3 of that amount later on ... some others on the other hand are still going strong (Silence, Impact, Arbitrater ...). I guess cause they appeal to wider public ...
