Let's bump one of the greatest Poisonose-threads ever with the bloody awesome BLOWIN' FREE tracks from the "Ready To Fire" compilation:

Please ignore anything else this band ever did, half-decent as it may have been... This is The Shit, srsly..

I don't know if this has been posted before, I do know I posted it on one of my gmail accounts though, but here it is in higher quality...

CREEPY FAMILY's 'Midnight Warrior' from the 'Moose Molten Metal' compilation. Take a listen to some amazing horror metal. And like before, it'd be really cool to get some more info on these elusive twilight mongers.

That was amazing. I never liked Axewitch, maybe if they had made more songs like that I would have given them a chance!

I have to agree that this is one of the best Axewitch songs that I've never heard until now. Not that I dislike the band, but whoa, great tune.

To be honest I've never been a big fan of AXEWITCH either - very mid-league as far as early EuroMetal goes, but still, that song rules and this other mixed-comp-only recording would be their 2nd best effort:

...and for the crazy greek Nasty_Pirate: HOLY ANGEL - Looking For Your Love

Edit: from the Pang Records comp On The Rocks.

Thank you!

'Chaos' has potential, cool song, though I do miss the doomy aura of Birth/Death. Still a solid tune though, just different

'Living Death' is also decent. Gonna need to play 'em a few times without waiting for the doomy parts to kick in

Only a few hours ago I got this email from a friend & fellow collector of Swedish local comps, including this pretty nifty tune:

SEASON'S END - World In Flames

Good, neo-classical melodic heavy/speed/power stüffs from '91. No, I have no info whatsoever about the band, sorry... (The LP details will be added to the site in the next few weeks tho')

Very nice! Sounds a little bit Yngwie and a little bit Nocturnal Rites. Any interest in doing a Compilation Companion Volume 2?

Since nightsblood asked to hear Domain's Sanctuary EP and no one has posted it yet, here is their song "Sons Of The Sun" from the Boston Rock & Roll Anthology Volume #5 (anyone know if it is a different version?)

DOMAIN - Sons Of The Sun
