Not unknown at all, but here're two of my favorite lyrics :
Here's the first :
Catch a fleeting glimpse then be on your way
Oh the end is near if you choose to stay
This forsaken land torn by grief and strife
No it's not worth the value of your life
And the second :
A war is raging on inside us guarded by the horde
with lesser gods of higher rank prodding them to war
no father son or holy spirit
nor defenses from the foe
all are battered torured shattered
allegiance without death is woe

First one is OMEN of course.
The second one is HOLY TERROR's Guardians of the Netherworld, their best track
Good against Evil, Evil sure to win
"It really didn't matter if they liked it or not, i was going to give it to them straight down their throats" -John Stewart
"You have robbed our homes and fortunes
Even drove us from our land
You tried to break our spirit
But you'll never understand
The love of dear old Ireland
That will forge and iron will
As long as there are gallant men
Like young Ned of the hill"
Roman are you there?
Me thinks is a Pogues tune (but not sure if it belongs here...)
Yes, Pogues, that's correct. I don't know if it belongs here too, but the lyrics of the song are very angry and each time i listen to it i always get a feeling similar to that when i listen to metal...

Drawing near in the gloom comes the twilight of all shame,
The ravens of night have flown away to set Valhalla aflame.
For too long now the right hand gods have fought between themselves,
With paths that lead to paradise from this demented world.
This is the age, the age of Satan, now that the twilight is done,
Now that Satan has come.

here's a Classic, before I leave work for a long weekend now:
"The woods alive with the sound of the pipers song
The soulless grave of a tortured borly nun
Sacred grounds in eternal damnation
The mist of this walking death
Ashes in the morning sun
Damnation

Another PAGAN ALTAR track, but I forgot the name. It's from the debut.
