Hm.. the hi-res insert is there. Check again!

(..and no, I know I use to joke about this, but this time it WAS there all along)

EDIT: Wait! Did you mean the innersleeve? No, I didn't scan it since it's rarely missing - it's mostly the actual insert that's the problem in these cases.
Correct, I only thought it is the other way round. Nevermind. Regarding innersleeve, perhaps the owners thought it to be to uninteresting to keep the inner at home while selling ze platter in the second hand shop.

Just added a small review of this one:

DARK LIGHT - Forbidden 12" EP 1992 review

...mainly because I wanted to set the record straight about the fact that it's NOT another hidden gem on par with stuff like Slander, Masque or ShockSplit. Not a piece of crap either, sure, but more for the melo-HR/HM fans for sure. Opinions?

Been doing a lot of the usual zine-, album covers and German HM guide updates recently, but not a proper album review for months it seems, so here comes a True UK Classic that's long overdue:

Who doesn't love this one!?
And.. I have this vague memory of seeing their logo on a smaller festival poster in recent years - or maybe I've dreamt it? Who knows more about their live/reform-status?

Honestly? For a long time, me.
Back in the day i thought they were okay, but i found 'RR&B' rather monotonous.
After reading your rave reviews of both LPs, (highly entertaining reads as always), i revisited some of their stuff & was surprised to find that i like their material far better nowadays. The vocals in particular give BM far more of a distinctive identity than i'd thought back then & they've stood the test of time much better than most of their shrieking thrash peers. Thanks for the inspiration to reevaluate them DaN.
I've yet to get "goosebumps" exactly, but that recent Svart anthology comping both LPs & all their demos is starting to look really tempting...

Cheers for the ever honest feedback. I do recognize the 'monotonous' sentiment, as it was the same feeling I had myself for years concerning this band. Still I always felt they had a special vibe about them, even above & beyond the music - the album covers, the song titles, line-up shots... and after revisiting the albums With Intent these last couple of weeks they finally 'clicked' for real for me and thus -> @reviews

I definitely relate to your sentiments re their album covers, they're so unapologetically OTT & unrepentantly METAL. With repeated plays I'm gradually starting to accept that my younger self may have got BM wrong. I wouldn't say i'm 100% there quite yet, but i'm definitely 'click' adjacent.
