Algaion (SWE) - The Herostrategic Legacy MCD 2001 (ever rel. by Loud'n Proud Rec. or Wounded Love ??)
Never released I'm quite sure. I was in touch with the ALGAION singer before (around that time) and I never heard about its release. The label supposed to release it (LN'P) went downhill to bankrupcy because of signing far too many bands at a time. If Wounded Love had taken over I think it had been known by now.
That Allegiance album I've never heard about. They are supposedly to be reformed, there's a myspace site.

Hi, somebody is offering me the '84 Heart Made of Steel ep from Hammerhead. Unfortunately, I don't know how they sound like.
Are they any good? Didn't find mp3's on the net.

It's a Hard Rock Band from Argentina ! Very average stuff in my ears, but i heard them only once till now !
Their first Album is from 1983, the second "PURPURA 2" from 1984 !
The Singer is Leonora Marchesi who sang on the 3rd SANTA-LP !
You sould find more about them on the METALEROS-Site !

I agree, the PURPURA lps are very average hard rock but I guess if you are a female vocalist maniac/specialist you might like them. But I left them behind in the bins in Argentina after I heard what they sounded like.
If you want great hard rock from Argentina I suggest you get the RIFF lps (especailly the earliest ones) or if you want to search for a rare(r) record try for HERMES 1st lp

They were from south of France and their 7" (Ceremony for a sprite) came out in 1987. It's melodic metal with those awful 80's synth, I can upload it if you want
There's also supposed to be another heaviest track on a 1984 compilation but I haven't found it yet...

Great Doom/Epic Metal music - vocals and production could be better. A very typical Minotauro-release, ie quite similar to Paul Chain's solo stuff. One song from RAT's early 80's demo turned up on Paul Chain's "Detatching From Satan" MLP, so there's definitely a strong connection between the bands.
Monetary value? 20-30 euros maybe.
And MUTHA CORPSE was a huge disappointment for me. Cool band name - lame music.

I just noticed I downloaded their demo from Miskatonic, sounds like a band worth owning indeed! But the record is priced €40. Mint copy, but I guess I'll wait till another cheaper one shows up.

Note that the music on the MLP is more epic/progressive than the primitive Doom on the demo. Still worth getting though. 40 euros might be OK too, unless there's postage on top.

I have the "Fairies Return" EP. The first tracks are typical ACCEPT-metal with a MAIDEN touch for the guitars, they're not that bad.
The two last tracks are less interesting and more on an hard-rock edge.
The weak point of this EP (imo) are the vocals which are average.
I can upload it, if you want to judge by yourself.
