Great collection. But 'extreme' metal isn't my thing.

Christblood demo on Baphometal pictures looks like replica or boot! High resolution cover picture will reveal the truth.

A few of my beloved ones:

Image
On Roadrunner. Label say TEST-PRESSING and someone has slipped in a bio (click image to read it) the actual order to make fifty copies as testpressings (? - anyone familiar with the dutch tongue may confirm this) and a chart from some magazine. My question: Is it rare?

Image
Some twelve inch promos from Metal Blade: Silent Cries, Quietus and Anarchy Divine/In a Word from No Exit and Through Different Eyes from Perfect Symmetry.

Image
Regular pressings of No Exit (slightly organgey Metal Blade issue to the left and red Roadrunner to the right) + the seemingly extremely common/undesirable promo picture disc LP.

Image
Anarchy Divine promo seven inch flexi who came free with Powerline Magazine Vol 3 issue 2.

Actually my favourites are Spectre and Awaken - but since this is kind of a show-off thread and I haven't got any promos or such from the earlier days I decided to post these instead.

This may be something though. Not sure if this is the first CD-edition and if it was released at the same time as the vinyl version (both booklet and disc says 1986, just like on the LP). I bought it quite recently for mere 4 euros.

Why, you dirty swine! Well okay here you are!

Got two daughters who both have been seen strutting around in those to the increasingly annoying tones of ABBA. Sorry, for this most beautiful and ugly post ever. I have already called the doctor for an amputation.

Interesting. I also have this same CD (Enigma/Metal Blade pressing from 1986) and it's the first pressing, however, my disc is different.

Yours is the US pressing and my copy is the European press.

So the european pressing is not on Roadrunner?

I actually checked the CD, before I was going by memory.

Turns out that my copy is the South Korea press that is found on Musik Sammler's database pressed at the same time.

It makes me want your copy now though, as all the rest of my Fates Warning discography are US pressings.

I don't suppose that your looking to sell your CD for a profit?

Otherwise, the search continues...

Is that Awaken The Guardian? If so, I MAY be able to hook you up with a U.S. first pressing. There was a used copy at a local shop last time I was there. I can go back and see if it's still there if it's the one you're after.

Any chance you/we/us/all could try to shrink the pix some before posting them in this thread? Some pages takes like forever to load on a slow connection./Admin

Aye Aye Admin! I must admit I didn't even check the size of these pictures before posting them on imageshack.us - my wife is the one who usually handles everything camera related around here, I only recently found out how too do it... And sorry fellow forum people for causing trouble!

It's a really dear item to me so I guess your search will continue. But there is hope - check SideShow's post!

It would be also be good if people stopped quoting messages with pictures in them without editing out the picture first.
