I need some info on this copy of Razor - Violent Restitution, 1988 Steamhammer/SPV.
This CD looks legit and the Matrix is that of a legit pressing, however, it is not the more common "CDP-BERLIN 85-7571 01" and the center ring of this CD is the same shiny silver color as the rest of the disk, not the see-through clear of the other pressing I have.
Is this a repress of some sort?
Any information would be grealty appreciated.
Recent Steamhammer reissue, don't know the exact year. All the SPV reissues are deceptive like that, everything is exactly the same except for the solid silver matrix area. Same for all Destruction, Sodom, Evildead, etc. CDs that you can buy new in stores and online.
Thanks dude.

As far as I know, the Kerberos release only had the black and white band picture for the cover.

Never saw a Kerberos copy with yellow cover art, but that's which Yetisued put here in musik-sammler database ... or perhaph he just didn't find the original one?

He probably just got lazy.
That cover is better than the band photo one anyways.

Here's what Yetisued said about it:
"it's right, that the band picture is part of the front booklet, but in the end, the "real" cover is the other one. "

Karsten can be weird some times...
I got into an arguement with him regarding the Target/Holy Moses Split bootleg CD once.

HELLo,
DaN is this the v/a album in your fave list?

The last band is written Widow but I think it's the prog band Black Widow. The debute album from 70 has a song Come to the Sabbath inside! The devilish music with saxophone
If it's true any other nonemetal bands takin' place in metal compilations? And why???

I'm not sure but probably there were some ex-members of Black Widow doing a rerecorded version of the song (never released other than on this comp at the time?). Why it was included? My guess is that the overall occult theme was the main thing with the compilation - thus they fit. Mind you The Blood weren't actually a Heavy Metal band either, even though Incubus is a great Heavy Metal track.

What GJ said. Unless it was one of the other 2 nwobhm WIDOWs doing the song, but it doesn't look that way.
Concerning non-Metal bands on Metal compilations, I can think of a number of US comps featuring hc/crossover acts, but nothing more blatant than that comes up at the moment.

Thanx for the fast answers
Hope to hear the heavy version of Sabbath... Any link for it?

Yeah, it's cover by ex-Black Widow members. But it would've been a better fit if it was recorded by Agony Bag.
