I liked Blut & krieg but never really this one.

Not being repressed for such a long time probably also had something to do with the status of this. To be honest I never understood why ToOGS on one hand, and Vampires by Mütiilation on the other hand, were so much more expensive than other records from that era, even already 20 years ago.
Good that you gave green light for all those represses in the end. Do you still bother with black metal or is it older heavy metal stuff exclusively nowadays?

Shill bidding or real?
I know NWOBHM items are famous for hitting "insane" prices but this seems a bit out of place :?

Pretty well known seller. And those Millennium tapes are very rare. This particular one isn't even on Discogs, so I actually think this is legit.

Folks might enjoy this: a video summary of a vinyl lot bought on ebay by YouTuber Lazerrus. He's got a killer collection, very completist when it comes to bands including Maiden, Priest, and BOC.

That was one awesome score (especially for the price he paid)! Man, I've been wanting that Avatar EP for ages, and now it's way too expensive for me, regardless of colour.

Congratulations to him, that was indeed a mighty impressive haul.
As someone who collected the Maiden singles back then it was interesting to see the green/blue colour variations on those Twilight Zone sleeves, something i'd never seen before. I'd also been under the impression that all the UK EMI Maiden 45s came with the custom Eddie labels from 'Running Free' until (at least) the singles from the 'Number...' LP, but it seems there were variations there too.
Is the TKO 45 on Sea West quite scarce Khnud? I always liked their stuff.
I know it wasn't the point of the video but am i alone in thinking that it was odd that in half an hour he never mentioned any of the actual music apart from a brief aside on Violation?

Not that rare but certainly not common. Can still be bought cheap if you have patience. Both Danger City and Give Into The Night are different versions than on the "In Your Face" LP. It's a GREAT 45, and one that I should probably review in the near future. I just have some family stuff getting in the way of my review project right now.

Do you mean different recordings or different mixes? I know the history of 'In Your Face' was quite convoluted with various remixes & line-up changes in the years between it's original recording & eventual release but my recall of those events is likely as fuzzy as Brad Sinsel's by now.
