First:
Does anyone know if the German label Source Of Deluge is genuine or not? Got their reissue of Stainless Steel (Hungary) - Red Heat Within today and it lacks many of the things a legit label has....
There is no copyright information written ANYWHERE on the CD, or covers
There is no year of release noted anywhere (original CD on Hammer Records, 2002)
There is no information about it being licensed from any label or band.
The CD has no SID-codes (IFPI ####(#) numbers)
The matrix of the CD is "#1"
The entire pressing feels kinda cheap
In my eyes this is a big red "bootleg" warning sign.

Second:
Does anyone know if the Leviticus (Sweden) albums where reissued around 2008 as a boxed set of CDs in cardsleeves? Won a CD in cardsleeve version of the album Setting Fire To The Earth on Tradera and it has SID-Codes so I know it wasn't made in 1987, but Royal Music Production as a label disappeared very early into the 90s as far as I know.
The matrix made me suspect this, the CD matrix is:
GUL-6 ROYAL 9 CD-BOX-1 34559-1-19 080518 1025

Saw that awhile ago (was listed as auction at the same price, but noone put a bid). Since there is no barcode it should be the original 1st press, but it surely isn't; the original CD matrix is totally different and ends w/ # 1. The CD here looks more like the one that came w/ version w/ barcode as I remember, yet the one at Gellert's actuions look different as well:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SU-TA-GAR-Jaiotze-B ... 45faca1f24
And as the CD from 1st auction comes w/ matrix that ends w/ # 3, that could mean it being the third press. Were there (at least) 3 different pressings w/o barcode?? Does anyone have more info about it?

I'm curious now... What's the matrix of SU TA GAR Jaiotze Basatia CD?
(w , w/o barcode)
I only have the recent reissue, though

IBERMEMORY # IZ-349-KD # 1 (and lots of #### signs on both sides)
That's the matrix code of my copy w/o barcode.

Those should be the right numbers, but these days it's hard to tell without detailed photos. A lot of new bootlegs have the same matrix numbers as the originals.

say to the seller you want to buy 2 copies of them for $500 each. if he answer he can do it, that is bootleg.

I bought them about 3 years ago from a German seller. Back then I didn't consider for one second they could be bootlegs.

This doesn't mean that the Metallica Slimline doesn't exist, but ok who knows

Offtop
Could you please give me more info about non existing Stormwitch CDs on Scratch Records? I mean single versions, not 2 on 1. AFAIK Tales Of Terror does exist, but it is very unclear for me. What do you think about these?

AFAIK there are 2 legit Stormwitch cds on Scratch, the 2x1 "Walpurgis Night/Stronger Than Heaven" and "Beauty and the Beast".
MS Link: it's strange that Yetisued didn't put "bootleg" on "Stronger Than Heaven" stand-alone, I will ask him more infos ^^
I've seen the pics on that website, it's a different version of "Tales of Terror", not the "known" bootleg (different cat.num.). Never seen that before, can't say more.

Yes, i have both of them, and before i did see this mystic "Tales Of Terror" CD i thought the same.

I did ask earlier webmaster of this site about these strange and unknown CDs and this is what he answered me:
"The edition of "Tales Of Terror" is indeed real and no bootleg. I am in contact with some of the original STORMWITCH members including Harald Spengler/Lee Tarot. He approved that this cd is truly official and not a bootleg or some other fake. But extremely hard to find and almost impossible to get. Within the last years I saw it only twice on eBay. Thats why most people even don't know about this gem."
You're right, "Stronger Than Heaven" was also released as CD on Scratch Records. Harald Spengler told me about that. But I have never seen a piece of that in real.
But when i asked him about scans of "Tales Of Terror" he disappeared and never answered.
P.S: Dear mods, please remove our conversation with Helstar on
right topic

Does ANYONE know something about the VENDETTA "Search in the darkness" CD (quantity, current price,...etc.)???
I know that the original vinyl is very rare and expensive so I've started searching for the CD, but there's absolutely no trace to even one copy (except that old Sonic Age link, stating it is "out of stock").
That s*cks, I need the music sooo bad.

That's the Finnish VENDETTA, right? Are you sure there is a legit CD release? BTW, i hope you don't want to buy anything at Bootleg Age Records, eh.

I'm pretty sure this one has been re-released officially by KING FOO REC. in 2006, but if someone else knows better, please enlighten this piece of "metal darkness".
