yeah well loyalty to KIT is one thing... being stuck in Greece with no planes leaving is another

we need to drive 29 hours to get to KIT from Athens, and then again only me is willing to try it... hope the flights happens...

If it's true that all american bands don't play to the festival and the organization don't change the days of the festival (for examples to the end of may) this is a very unhappy and VERY INCORRECT choice and I feel robbed.

KIT 13 will definetely happen on friday and saturday. If our overseas bands will have to cancel due to the volcano ash we will have replacement bands there. This is a very difficult time for us and we really need your support in this...

IT'S INCORRECT...I DON'T WANT ANOTHER BILL...I WANT THE BILL FOR THAT I PAY THE TICKET...IF OVERSEAS BANDS WILL NOT BE THERE I WILL NOT BE THERE !

Do you really think it is that easy to just reschedule to another date?? KIT organisers have probably already spent thousands of $$$ already in flights to get bands to the festival, not to mention hire on the concert hall, catering, beer etc.

To change to another date would be a costly nightmare I would guess and could put future verions of KIT at risk

How the hell do you have the nerve to start flaming the organizers? Is the volcanic eruption their fault? There's nothing they can do to bring the overseas bands over. Moving the festival date would be very hard and would force everyone to reschedule their flights, hotels etc and it would still be very uncertain. For all we know, the flight situation might still be in total turmoil a month from now.

KIT deserves a fucking medal for trying hard to make the festival happen and be as good as possible under these terrible circumstances. If you don't like the bill then don't go. You only paid 40 stinking euros for your entrance ticket anyway, the festival organizers are gonna lose a hell of a lot more than that on this.

I guess nobody wants another bill, but who's to blame on that? The KIT Organization? Oli the Weathergod Weinsheimer? I guess he and the other organizers are just having the hardest time of their lives and you cry like a little baby about this? The whole organization takes more than just a few weeks, they are planning about a year before the next KIT to get everything ready, so they can't just go and move it to the end of May. Anyway, nobody knows how long this vulcan will be active, so it might be the same situation then. What do you do then? Start crying again and tell them to move it to June?

By reading your words I guess it's not a big loss if you won't come.

By the way, I just read that Demon will come by car, so they will play.

No one can blame the organizers for what's happening. It's a take it or leave it case, if you want to go to the fest with half the bill cancelled it's up to you, no one is forcing anyone to do anything. I'm sure the organizers have done their best, but these things are beyond their control.
To tell the truth, for me the costs for having such a trip are not justified with the US and canadian bands missing, however I will probably go if I can be there by Friday morning and if I don't have to pay more money for changing my flight.

It's impossible to have a reschedule of the fest with the same bill. The large majority of the bands have daily jobs and other obligations.
